New Friends For Children
Worcester service agency Children's Friend Inc. has elected five new directors to its board: Gary Carskaddan, Janet Wilson Moore, Suzanne L. Weekes, David K. Woodbury, and Patricia Zinkus.
Michael J. Mulrain, CFO of Polar Corp., was re-elected as chair of the board.
Carskaddan is the director of development at St. John's High School in Shrewsbury. Moore is a partner at Worcester's Mirick O'Connell law firm. Weekes is associate head of Worcester Polytechnic Institute's mathematics department. Woodbury is president of Worcester printing company Woodbury and Co. Inc. Zinkus is director of case management for Fallon Community Health Plan of Worcester.
Children's Friend was founded in 1849. It now runs counseling, adoption and family service programs and offers services for school-age mothers and grieving children and teens.
