The website RehabAid.com, a site focusing on helping people suffering with substance abuse issues, launched this year an interactive map tracking overdoses around the United States since 1999..

The map is viewable here, via the RehabAid.com website.

The map allows users to view and compare opioid information nationally and on a state-by-state basis. For Massachusetts, the map shows the state was always one of the worst-hit ones in the nation over the last 20 years, and the number of deaths has intensified over that time period.

The makers behind the map said they hope the tool will help provide awareness around the severity of the ongoing national drug crisis.
