The parent company of Ranor Inc., in Westminster has named a new president at Ranor, the company announced.
Bob Francis, a senior executive with multi-site operational experience, is the new president and general manager at the machinery manufacturer. He was most recently vice president and general manager at GKN Monitor Aerospace, a division of GKN Aerospace. Prior to that, he held operational positions in a variety of organizations, specializing primarily in the design and manufacture of composite components, supplying to the aerospace, defense and commercial markets.
Ranor is owned by TechPrecision Corp., based in Center Valley, Pa. Francis replaces Stanley Youtt, who will remain with Tech Precision as executive vice president the Company and become EVP of Special Projects, primarily focused on executing plans for TechPrecision's new waterfront operation.
