Q. How are you settling in at your new office?
A. Very well (I hope), the attorneys and support staff have been fantastic at helping me get adjusted.

Q. What's the biggest surprise you've had in starting the job?
A. I am constantly surprised by how I have similar contacts, experiences and goals as many of the employees. It truly is a small world.

Q. What challenges do you see in your new position?
A. Seizing the opportunities presented. Bowditch & Dewey has incredible resources and support to enable me to fully service my clients and make a positive impact in the elder law community. I am hoping I have enough energy and stamina to take full advantage of all the firm has to offer.

Q. How different is this job from your previous position?
A. My practice is similar in many ways. I still practice in elder law, disability planning, estate planning, probate administration and probate litigation. The main difference is the access to resources which can greater serve my clients.

Q. How close is this to what you imagined in high school you'd end up doing?

A. Although I cannot recall imagining too much in high school as I more or less concentrated on just getting through each day, my high school friends would most likely concur that this is what they assumed I would end up doing. I am lucky to truly enjoy my profession and get the benefit of feeling that I have assisted a family in need. So imagined or not, I am happy to have gotten here.

Q. Where's the best place to get lunch near your new location?

A. Tomasso's in Southbridge. Their market is great too.

Q. What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
A. Cooking large meals and drinking great wine with friends and family.
