COMMUNITY CONCERNS

Networking group Community Business Associates of Sturbridge donated $500 to Southbridge Food Share. Members also volunteered by stocking shelves, and gave $200 in grocery gift cards. OF NOTE

  • New York Life, with offices in Central Massachusetts, donated $5,000 to animal rescue nonprofit Broken Tail Rescue of Worcester.
  • Clinton Savings Bank matched a $135 donation from a third-grade class at Berlin Memorial School to the United Way of Tri-County, based in Framingham.
  • Fidelity Bank of Worcester donated $1,000 to Friendly House of Worcester.
  • MutualOne Bank, based in Framingham, donated $2,000 to the Autism Alliance of MetroWest.
