Polar Lands Distribution Deal With Calif. Firm
Worcester-based Polar Beverages has landed a five-year distribution agreement with a California beverage provider for one of its products, according to a statement from that company.
The company, True Drinks Inc., of Irvine, Calif., said Polar will sell and distribute its AquaBall Naturally Flavored Water throughout New England and in parts of New York, to retail outlets.
True Drinks had previously announced a co-packing agreement with Adirondack Beverages, a division of Polar, for production of AquaBall.
Jason Dorfman, national director of sales for True Drinks, said, "We are pleased to expand our relationship with Polar Beverages beyond the production of AquaBall at their Adirondack facility. This strategic partnership will enable True Drinks to rapidly expand AquaBall's distribution across the over 25,000 locations they service in New England."
John Wetzonis, senior vice president of sales at Polar, added, "Polar is pleased to add AquaBall … to our portfolio of brands. The product and its parent company … offer innovation that is void in the marketplace. We are excited about our partnership, and look forward to great success."
