WBJ, in partnership with electric utility National Grid, will host its annual Massachusetts Energy Summit on Wednesday at the DCU Center.
The event is designed to equip businesses, nonprofits, municipalities, and others with the knowledge and tools they need to navigate today’s evolving energy landscape, featuring expert panels and interactive discussions.
This year's summit will feature keynote speakers Emily Reichert, CEO of Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, and Morgan Steacy, vice president, connections & strategic accounts at National Grid.
The first panel discussion will feature a conversation centered around energy efficiency, resiliency planning, and state incentives around green building, featuring Byron Blankenhorn, renewable program director at Freedom Energy Logistics, Chris Porter, director of customer energy management, New England, at National Grid, and State Rep. Jeffrey Roy.
The second panel discussion will highlight examples of organizations that have successfully navigated the complexities of transforming their energy usage and turned it into measurable results. The panel will feature Ron Gillooly, program director of energy management services at Leidos, Jeff Poretto, engineering manager at The Haartz Corp., and Steven Solbo, project manager - energy for the Town of Norwood and the Town of Sharon.
The event will begin at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast and an exhibitor showcase and conclude following closing remarks around noon. Register here.
