SBA Disaster Loans Available In Central Mass
The U.S. Small Business Administration is making federal economic injury disaster loans of up to $2 million available in four Massachusetts counties, including Worcester and Middlesex.
The loans are available to small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives and most nonprofit organizations. The loans are available as a result of the excessive rain and weather-related plant diseases suffered by the region in June, according to the SBA.
Along with Worcester and Middlesex Counties, applicants from Franklin and Essex Counties are also eligible. The four counties are contiguous with counties in New Hampshire for which the disaster loans are primarily available.
The loans are available with a 4 percent interest rate with terms of up to 30 years.
