The Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce will offer free small business counseling by appointment all day on Wednesday, July 29 at its offices at 100 Sherman Ave., Suite 3, in Devens.
Every other week Michael Holbrook, a senior business counselor at Clark University's Small Business Development Center spends the day talking to small business people who want advice on some aspect of their company.
Holbrook's counseling assistance can help new, existing and troubled businesses. He provides counseling in areas such as finance, marketing, accounting, operations and planning.
The Small Business Development Center at Clark University in Worcester offers free, confidential, one-to-one management and technical advice as well as low-cost educational training programs to prospective and existing small businesses.
It also provides specialized services around finding business capital, minority business assistance and providing business and industry data. The center's staff can also share expertise on international trade and technical procurement.
