Southborough Firm Moves To New HQ

Accela Communications is leaving its 118 Turnpike Rd. offices in Southborough for a new headquarters at nearby 136 Turnpike Rd.
The new lease is for 12,487 square feet on the second floor of 136 Turnpike Rd. The building is owned by Capital Group Properties, a real estate development firm also based in Southborough.
Acella was represented by Richards Barry Joyce & Partners, a Boston-based commercial real estate firm, in the transaction. Capital Group was represented by CB Richard Ellis, also of Boston.
The Interstate 495 market consists of 17.2 million square feet of office space and was 18.4 percent vacant as of the end of the second quarter, according to RBJ.
