Staples Gives $59K To Local Nonprofits

Framingham-based office supply retailer Staples Inc. announced $350,000 worth of grants to nonprofit organizations, including $25,000 for the MetroWest Boys & Girls Club in Marlborough.

The company doled out 25 grants nationwide from the Staples Fund for Learning. Other awardees in the region included $10,000 for the Jewish Family Services of MetroWest located in Framingham and $24,000 for Operation Outreach in Holliston.

Staples also released an overview of its corporate giving from the last two years, noting that the company has donated $32 million internationally through monetary and in-kind donations.
