State Officials, Business Execs Heading Overseas

A delegation of leaders from the public and private sectors are expected to travel to Israel and the United Kingdom next month in an effort to "explore growth opportunities within the commonwealth's innovation-based industries."

The 10-day trip will start off in Tel Aviv and the group will then travel to Haifa, Jerusalem, London and Cambridge.

The trip was announced this morning by Gov. Deval Patrick's office. The travelers will include representatives from the Massachusetts Competitive Partnership, a recently formed group of 14 CEOs from Bay State companies.
