Strong sales boost Courion's bottom line

Courion Corp., a Framingham-based software company, said today its first half sales were up 80 percent, leading to a nearly 40 percent increase in revenue for the first half of 2007.

The company attributed its success to strong sales of its Courion Enterprise Provisioning Suite, particularly in the financial services and health care markets.  New customers this year include Memorial Hermann Healthcare System, Pacific Life and the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics.

Courion software helps automate the manual processes associated with managing risk and meeting compliance mandates, the company said.
