Tennessee-based employee benefits company Unum has promoted three employees to vice president slots at its Worcester office.
Colleen Jordan, an attorney who has been with the company for 11 years, is now vice president and managing counsel in the Unum U.S. law department. She manages a team that provides legal support for pre-litigation matters.
Jordan is a graduate of St. Lawrence University and has a J.D. from Northeastern School of Law.
Nancy Kidd Brown, a 29-year Unum veteran, was promoted to vice president of regional underwriting overseeing the western U.S. She is responsible for growth and profitability for six sales offices.
Brown is a Tufts University graduate.
Scott Williams is Unum’s new vice president of integrated underwriting. In the position, he heads up underwriting for individual disability insurance.
Williams has been with the company for 21 years, most recently as assistant vice president in advanced underwriting for individual disability insurance. He is a Wake Forest University graduate.
