The Worcester Academy Board of Trustees has elected two new members: Patricia Z. Eppinger and Luke M. Vaillancourt.
Both will serve three-year terms on the private high school's board.
Eppinger has taught in the MBA programs at the MIT Sloan School of Management and the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. She has also worked as a consultant with Boston management consulting firm McKinsey & Co.
Eppinger has a bachelor's degree in economics and government from the College of William & Mary and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business. She is the chair of the board of trustees at Worcester's Ecotarium and serves on boards for the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts and the Worcester Education Collaborative.
She lives in Grafton with her husband, Fred, and their three children.
Vaillancourt is director of digital marketing for Vaillancourt Folk Art in Sutton, one of the last companies to make Christmas decorations and collectables in the United States. He handles the company's advertising, Internet and e-commerce efforts.
Vaillancourt has a bachelor's degree in new media publishing and a master's degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He has worked in advertising and digital media. He is a member of the Worcester Academy Board of Visitors. He lives in Sutton and is engaged to be married in the fall.
