UTC ups dividend
Hartford-based defense and industrial conglomerate United Technologies Corp. increased its quarterly dividend to 32 cents per share, a 21 percent increase from the 26.5 cents per share previously announced. The dividend is payable Sep. 10 to shareholders of record as of Aug. 17. The company has tripled its dividends over the past six years, said CEO George David, reflecting what he said is the company's strong cash flow.
