Two events geared at women are coming up in the MetroWest region in the next week.
First, the Women's Initiative of the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce holds its monthly luncheon at the Crowne Plaza in Natick from 11:30 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3. The luncheon is billed as a "business development forum" featuring: Jennifer Lane, Compass Planning; John Fossett, SBA specialist; John Fioriti, State Office of Minority and Women Business Assistance; Ivette Olmeda, Center for Women and Enterprise and Paula Camara, Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Clark University.
The second women-centric event in the region is slated for Wednesday, Nov. 4. Leading Women MASS is holding an event entitled, "Candid Conversations from the C-Suite," at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel & Conference Center from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. The event will include a panel discussion moderated by Susan Colantuono, founder and CEO of Leading Women. The panelists include: Kip Hollister, founder and CEO of Hollister Inc.; Margaret Payne, Bishop of the New England Synod, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America; and Fran Liben, chief of legal services, Ropes & Gray LLP.
