Worcester Gets Creative

The City of Worcester has launched a new program to support creative enterprises downtown and in other central parts of the city with grants worth up to $40,000.

The city's Economic Development Division will offer incentives of up to $5,000 for new or expanding businesses based on individual creativity, including art galleries, cafes, gaming stores, music schools, performance spaces and restaurants.

The grants will be awarded twice a year depending on the money available. The first round of applications are available now and must be submitted by the end of September.
