Worcester Lumber Man Gets Industry Award
The North American Wholesale Lumber Association has chosen Henry S. Poler, the former president of Worcester's L.R. McCoy & Co. Inc. to receive its 2008 Mulrooney Award.
The association said Poler contributed significantly to the industry, serving on the NAWLA board of directors and executive committee for years and serving as president and CEO of the association in 1988.
NAWLA, based in Illinois, represents more than 650 forest products and building material industry wholesalers, manufacturers and industry affiliated companies.
