Boston Sports Clubs Coming to Westborough
Boston Sports Clubs is opening a 32,000 square-foot gym at Bay State Commons in Westborough.
The club, scheduled to open during the summer, will feature a swimming pool, basketball court and cycling and aerobics studios. It will also offer children's activities, including swimming lessons and birthday parties.
Ken Marvald, whose company Philips International is one of the Bay State Commons developers, said the development is appropriate for upscale businesses like Boston Sports Clubs because of its population growth, especially among high-income, young professional families.
Boston Sports Clubs is an operation of New York-based Town Sports International.
