CK: Natick lithe, graceful

One of the first five freestanding Calvin Klein retail stores in the country will be in Natick.

Calvin Klein Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Phillips-Van Heusen Corp., had previously announced that it would open five, stand-alone retail locations around the U.S. The stores are scheduled to open in November. Today, the company said it had signed a lease for a store at the new Natick Mall expansion, along with leases for four others in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Denver and Bloomfield Hills, Mich.

The stores are planned for 10,000 square feet, and will carry a full line of Calvin Klein apparel and accessories for men and women.

If all goes well at the first five stores, the company plans to add more in 2008 in cities like Boston, New York, Las Vegas, Miami, Dallas and others.
