Corporate travel makes the grade

Milford-based Atlas Travel International says it has launched a "travel report card" for businesses.

The system is called Travel GPA, and it allows companies whose employees do a lot of traveling to get "an up to the moment picture of how well your travel program is being mananged."

The system can also show companies how their travel programs compare with other companies' travel programs, the company said.

Atlas said it would begin Travel GPA by tracking about $1 billion in annual travel transaction data, with corporate travel spending ranging from $100,000 to more than $30 million.
