Q. How are you settling in at your new office?
A. My experience at the new office has been a positive one. While I am in the process of learning a new endeavor, the office personnel have been wonderful to work with and I could not ask for more support and training than what I am presently receiving.

Q. What challenges do you see in your new position?
A. The challenges I face in this new environment are several and include the building of an adequate sphere of influence for marketing my services in the real estate business, while working toward educating myself in the world of real estate sales. This has the propensity to be overwhelming at times due to the volume of information one must absorb in a relatively short time period.

Q. What's your favorite thing about Central Massachusetts?
A. My favorite thing about Central Massachusetts would be that it is rural and relatively quiet as compared to the hustle and bustle of major cities.

Q. How close is this to what you imagined in high school you'd end up doing?
A. In high school, my thoughts were toward a career in metalwork. I have always enjoyed projects that when completed returned a sense of satisfaction in achieving the set goals. The challenges in that industry are constantly changing and so the tasks were very different from one another. Not performing repetitious work was of great importance to me and kept my interest at a peak at all times. The real estate business has been a complete turn around and a real challenge for me as I am obviously not in my comfort zone.

Q. How far is your commute to the office?
A. My commute to the office is about seven miles as I live in Wrentham. It is a typically a very quiet and uneventful ride.

Q. What could local and state governments do to make things better for your business?
A. I think state and local governments could help this business greatly by having less involvement in it. While I am new to this business it seems like it could be over-regulated like so many others. While I believe in basic controls being in place, the industry can and will self-govern.

Q. Where's the best place to get lunch near your new location?
A. Probably the best lunch to be had is at Isabella's Italian Deli on West Central Street near the office.

Q. Do you have any hobbies outside of work?
A. I have a few hobbies outside of work. I belong to sportsmen's clubs in North Attleboro and Cumberland, R.I. I host several pistol competitions during the year as well as participate in events sponsored by others. I have designed and built two outdoor 50-yard pistol ranges for NRA sponsored competitions. I also enjoy woodworking and working on project automobiles. I have built several cars out of mismatched components and brought other older vehicles back to life.
