Friendship leads to productivity

A new study by Robert Half International suggests that it's good to be more than just friendly with one's coworkers.

A survey conducted by Accountemps, a division of Robert Half International, found that when friends at the office become friends outside the office, productivity increases.

The survey found 63 percent of workers and 57 percent of executives said that office productivity is positively affected when coworkers are friends outside the office.
