GlassHouse acquires British firm

Framingham IT consulting and services firm GlassHouse Technologies Inc. has acquired data center services company Data Center Moves International of London.

The move will expand Glasshouse's software and services portfolio, the company said.

GlassHouse will gain access to DCMI's proprietary software and management tools for data center migration and consolidation services, including a process used to help shrink the center's carbon footprint and make it more "green," according to the company.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

DCMI will be integrated into GlassHouse's existing Data Center Services division under Bill Peldzus, director of data center services, business continuity and disaster recovery.
