Women’s Executive Academy applications due in early September

Applications for the inaugural cohort of the Women’s Executive Academy are due Sept. 12.

The Women’s Executive Academy is a joint effort by Nichols College and Worcester Business Journal designed to help female professionals achieve their career goals, with a particular focus on reaching executive positions, such as CEO, president, and executive director.

The eight-session, eight-month program will be held in Greater Worcester and be led by female CEOs and business leaders from Central Massachusetts:

  • Aimee Peacock, president & CEO of Flexcon Global in Spencer
  • State Sen. Robyn Kennedy (D-Worcester)
  • Kathleen Jordan, president and CEO of Seven Hills Foundation and Affiliates in Worcester
  • Cilsy Harris, former senior vice president and chief information officer at Hanover Insurance Group in Worcester
  • Cynthia Gray, founder & owner of Gray’s Analysis in Worcester
  • Robin Frkal, dean of The Graduate School at Nichols College in Dudley
  • Marlina Duncan, vice chancellor for diversity & inclusion at UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester
  • Nina Dow, partner at Bowditch & Dewey in Worcester
  • Andrea Aiello, associate dean at the Clark School of Business in Worcester

The cost of the program is $2,500. In addition to the learning sessions, the academy will include exclusive networking sessions with top female business leaders in Central Massachusetts.

To apply, complete Nichols College’s application for the Women’s Executive Academy. The application deadline, originally slated for mid-August, was moved to Sept. 12 after Nichols took over as academic partner from Clark School of Business.
