Harvard Bioscience of Holliston has hired Yash Singh as an executive vice president to lead the newly formed cellular and molecular technologies team for the Holliston company.

Singh most recently served as president of the power and robotic motion business at Peabody health technology firm Analogic Corp., where he served in a number of executive leadership roles. Prior to joining Analogic, Singh was a senior associate at New York City consulting firm Booz & Co.

At Harvard Bioscience, Singh's official title will be executive vice president of cellular & molecular technologies, and he will report directly to Chairman, President and CEO Jim Green.

The CMT team combines the former PCMI and electro-physiology teams into a larger scale business. The aim of the CMT team is to leverage engineering and operations to improve sales and service coverage for the drug research and discovery market.
