Import Prices Advance 3.2%

The U.S. Import Price Index rose 3.2 percent in June, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The increase was led by higher petroleum prices and followed a 1.4 percent increase May.

Export prices also increased in June, rising 1.1 percent after a 0.5 percent increase in May.
