• Andrea Obston Marketing Communications in Bloomfield was chosen as one of the state’s best legal public relations firms by readers of The Connecticut Law Tribune. Readers rate “The Best” products and services for attorneys in fifty categories.
• Operation Fuel in Bloomfield received a $75,000 grant from the Connecticut Health Foundation of New Britain. The donation will support low-income families by providing emergency energy assistance.
• Attorney Joseph Fallon donated five law reference volumes to the library resource center at Asnuntuck Community College. The volumes provide a compilation of Connecticut case law and the foundation of a law library at the college and are valued at $14,000.
• The Greater Hartford Jaycees donated $27,500 to Thirman L. Milner Elementary School in Hartford for a new playscape. Travelers Connecticut Foundation donated $2,500 and the First Cathedral Church of Bloomfield donated $1,170 for the project.
