Q. How are you settling in at your new office?
A. I am settling in very nicely. Everyone here at UniBank has gone out of their way to make me feel comfortable and at home. I’ve even had the opportunity to meet with some customers and they too have made me feel very welcome.

Q. How close is this to what you imagined in high school you'd end up doing?
A. Not close at all. Back in high school I had been considering becoming a lawyer and when I went to college I studied political science. So getting into banking 20 years ago was a bit of surprise, but it has been a great career and I wouldn’t change a thing.

Q. What's the best way to keep your energy and motivation up when you're having a long day?
A. I think a Dunkin’ Donuts coffee can certainly help, but really what helps me stay energized  and motivated is working with a great team of people. When a day is wearing on me, I find it helpful to talk with the people I work with and discuss the challenges we share and a plan get us past those obstacles.

Q. Where's the best place to get lunch near your new location?
A. I’m working out of the UniBank headquarters in Whitinsville and there is a great place just down the street called the Daily Bread Bakery Café. I’ve tried several different things there and all of them have been great. They have a super selection of desserts, too.

Q. Do you have any hobbies outside of work?
A. I have several hobbies outside of work; I love to read and enjoy both golf and tennis, but I think my time for them will be cut dramatically next year with the arrival of our twins.

Q. What's on your to-do list for the next couple of days?
A. My to-do list is pretty long right now but some of the bigger things to get done include meeting as many business owners as possible to learn about their company and to explain to them what UniBank can do.  I also want to become involved in the local business community through business organizations, like the chambers of commerce, and of course getting to meet more and more of our UniBank customers.
