Karyopharm Added To Russell Indices
Karyopharm Therapeutics, a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company in Natick, has been added to the Russell 3000 and Russell 2000 indices as part of Russell Investments' fourth-quarter additions of companies that launched initial public offerings of stock, Karyopharm announced.
The company, which trades on the Nasdaq market under the symbol KPTI, said it will be added to the indexes after the markets close today.
The Russell 2000 measures the performance of the small-cap segment of the U.S. equity market and is a subset of the Russell 3000, Karyopharm said.
Karyopharm launched an initial public offering last month, raising nearly $109 million.
