L.L. Bean announces new store at Shoppes at Blackstone Valley

L.L. Bean is planning to open a shop in the Shoppes at Blackstone Valley in Millbury, the famed Maine retailer announced on Thursday.
The announcement comes as the company announced seven new retail stores opening around the U.S. and Canada in the coming year.
The company said the expansions come after its strongest fiscal year in almost a decade.
“We know that a record number of people reconnected with the outdoors amidst the pandemic, some for the first time, and we see these new habits remaining firmly in place going forward,” said L.L.Bean President and CEO Stephen Smith in a statement.
An official opening date, slated for fall, has not yet been announced. All new outposts are expected to be open by the end of the calendar year.
