Marlboro-based Advanced Results Marketing has announced a merger with California-based Mercury Media to form Mercury Media Holdings.
The companies said the new holding company would be the country's largest independent direct response media agency.
The new company will be able to offer advertisers long-form programs like infomercials, short-form television spots, and traditional advertising services like print and radio ads.
Financing for the new company was provided by Eos Partners, a $2 billion, New York-based private equity firm.
