Marlborough Hospital Chooses Planner

Marlborough Hospital has chosen long-time partner HDR Warner+Associates of Boston to develop the hospital's strategic facility master plan.
The hospital, which is part of the UMass Memorial Health Care system, has been working with Warner for the last 10 years. The firm designed the hospital's digital diagnostic imaging department and central registration and admitting area. Warner also upgraded the hospital's main ground floor corridor.
The hospital is 190,000 square feet with portions dating back to 1913 and newer portions from as recently as 2000. The master plan will focus on business objectives, site assessment, hospital funtion, a facility and campus master plan, feasibility and scheduling, technology, sustainability and risk assessment.
