Jamaica Plain-based Bottom Line, an organization that helps urban students get into college, has hired

GINETTE SAIMPREVIL

to lead its Worcester office. She is formerly a senior counselor and former Bottom Line student. She graduated from Bowdoin College in 2004.

LENE ARNETT JENSEN

, associate professor of psychology at Clark University, has been appointed to serve on the board of directors of Children's Friend.  Her three-year term became effective February 27. She was hired by Clark University in August 2005, and spent the 2005-06 academic year as a visiting fellow at The Academy for Migration Studies in Denmark (AMID) and The Social Research Institute in Copenhagen, Denmark.  

Natick-based Dacon Corp. has hired

STEPHEN ARCHIBALD

MEGHAN DUFRESNE

have joined PDA Associates Inc. - the architectural component of Dacon Corp. Archibald is on board as a senior project architect and Ms. Dufresne as an architectural designer. Archibald has worked in the architectural field for more than 25 years. In 1992, he founded Archdesign, Inc., a full-service firm that served clients in the Boston area. Dufresne worked with Archibald as an architectural designer at Archdesign, Inc. for two years.

Fitchburg-based Rollstone Bank & Trust is pleased to welcome

as its newest commercial lender and senior vice president. Farooq has nearly 20 years of banking experience, with the past 13 years spent in the commercial loan department at Flagship Bank.

CHERYL WOODMAN

was recently promoted to the position of purchasing manager at Quabaug Corp. in North Brookfield. She joined Quabaug in 2006 as purchasing planner.  
    
Ware-based Country Bank for Savings has hired

DOUGLAS GILBERT

as vice president of commercial loans. Gilbert has over 12 years of experience in commercial real estate and commercial and industrial lending. Prior to joining Country Bank for Savings, Gilbert served as the head of commercial lending at Easthampton Savings Bank.

Bowditch & Dewey, LLP, the Massachusetts law firm with offices in Boston, Framingham and Worcester, has promoted

to partner. Boucher concentrates his practice in corporate law while Collins concentrates her practice in all aspects of employment and business litigation and immigration law. Hoban's areas of practice include commercial and business litigation, defense of professionals in malpractice actions, and insurance coverage issues.  

Athol Savings Bank announced the following personnel changes:

BONNIE BASSETT

has been promoted to senior vice president of human resource.  She joined the bank in 1981 and served in various capacities before developing the human resource department.

DEBRA VESCOVI

has been promoted to senior vice president of residential lending. She joined the Bank in 1978. She also serves as the bank's compliance and community reinvestment act officer.

PETER RUSSELL

has been promoted to senior vice president of commercial lending. He joined the bank in 1996 and has more than 25 years banking experience.

KATHLEEN MATEWSKY

has been promoted to assistant vice president residential lending. She joined the Bank in 1988. AMY CRAVEN been promoted to internet banking officer. She joined the Bank in 2000.

RENEE IRONS

has been promoted to loan administration officer. She joined the bank in 1988.

MARY BULSO

, project engineer at Milford-based Consigli Construction Co. has passed an exam to become a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional, making her the twentieth member of Consigli's project management department to do so.

MARINA RAHER has been elected chairman of Workers' Credit Union's board of directors.

JAMES ROUSE

has been named the board's vice-chairman. Raher is a CPA with her own accounting firm in Sterling. Rouse is president and CEO of Micron Products Inc. in Fitchburg.

PETRA M. SMITH

has been named director of the 24 North nursing unit at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. Smith is a graduate of Holyoke Community College and holds an associate's degree in nursing. She was most recently the telemetry manager at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford.


SAMUEL H. ADAMS

has joined Workscape Inc. of Marlborough as general manager of its talent management solutions business unit. He is responsible for driving all aspects of the business including revenue growth through various channels, product roadmap and customer engagement. Most recently, Adams was the president and CEO of St. Croix Systems, a privately held software company.
