SALLIE ALLEN is now creative director at CommCreative, a marketing agency in Framingham. She will be responsible for overseeing and engaging in the company's creative product. She previously worked at The VIA Agency in Portland, Maine.
HILARY GARDNER was promoted to human resources manager at the DAVIS Cos. in Marlborough. She has more than 15 years experience in staffing and has been with the company for 10 years, most recently as learning & development manager. In her new role, she will oversee a team of four and will be responsible for corporate compliance, employee relations, strategic leadership, risk management, benefits and culture development and preservation.
KIMBERLY LENZ, a clinical pharmacy manager in UMass Medical School's Commonwealth Medicine Division, was appointed to the New England Comparative Effectiveness Public Advisory Council of the Institute for Clinical and Economic Review. The council reviews the institute's reports at public meetings and recommends how patients, clinicians, insurers and policymakers can improve the quality and value of health care. At UMass Medical, she is the clinical pharmacy manager for MassHealth as well as an assistant professor of family and community health.
LARISSA C. THURSTON has been promoted to chief operating officer, chief financial officer and senior vice president of finance at St. Mary's Credit Union in Marlborough. She joined the credit union in 2014 and previously served as vice president and controller of a commercial bank in southern New Hampshire. In her new role, she oversees information technology, marketing, operations and human resources in addition to her previous responsibilities at the bank.
SARAH A. DAY is now assistant vice president, commercial loan officer at St. Mary's Credit Union in Marlborough. She joined St. Mary's in 2010 as marketing manager and joined the commercial lending team in 2013. She is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Nichols College, receiving her master's in business administration.
RICHARD LePAGE is now superintendent at JM Coull Inc. in Maynard. He joins the firm from A/Z Corporation in Westborough. In his new role, he will oversee phase two of the Discovery Woods project at the Discovery Museums in Acton, an ADA-compliant outdoor playscape that will feature a treehouse as its centerpiece.
KYLE RENAUD is now assistant superintendent at JM Coull Inc. in Maynard. He will support operations for several JM Coull projects, including the $12.6-million gym and fine arts center expansion at Whitinsville Christian School and a 10,000-square-foot lobby renovation at the Natick headquarters of Cognex Corp. He came to JM Coull from Cutler Associates in Worcester.
MELISSA BAAR is now assistant vice president at Webster Five in Webster. She will be responsible for managing the collection of delinquent installment loans and mortgage loans, representing the bank at foreclosures, submitting active charged-off loans to third-party agents, and providing guidance to the collections staff. She joined the bank in 2014 as the collection manager.
SHERMAN WHITMAN has joined WPKZ AM 1280 and 105.3 FM in Fitchburg as a co-host and sports anchor for the K-Zone Morning Kommute with Travis Condon. He has commentated on Boston and Worcester stations, most recently with WCRN AM 830 and on play-by-plays for Worcester Bravehearts.
