Clinton Savings Bank has appointed six new corporators to help guide the financial institution’s mission, including: DAVID BAIRD, tax assessor for the Town of Clinton; BRIGIT DONOHUE, dentist at Northborough Dental Associates; JOHN DONOHUE, attorney at Fuller, Rosenberg, Palmer & Beliveau in Worcester; ROBERT PAULHUS, former president and CEO of CSB; ROBERT RIVARD, senior vice president/chief lending officer at CSB; and BARRY WHITNEY, owner of Whitney Oil in Clinton.
Medway-based Charles River Bank has hired KIM BRIGGS as assistant vice president and Mendon branch officer. In her new role, Briggs will mentor retail banking workers at the bank’s Mendon office while overseeing operations, compliance, and customer service. She graduated from Massachusetts Bay Community College, based in Wellesley Hills.
Cornerstone Bank has named its nine-member class of summer 2025 interns: high schoolers and college students working paid part-time and full-time positions within a number of departments throughout the Worcester-based bank. The interns, their respective colleges, and their intern departments include:

Mirick has hired SIERRA SMARRA as an associate at the Worcester law firm’s trusts & estates group. Smarra’s practice centers probate and estate planning, including tax planning, drafting of wills, trusts, and ancillary documents, and assisting with retitling assets. She earned her bachelor’s degree in legal studies and political science from UMass Amherst and her law degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston.
Main Street Bank has hired three new vice presidents to support growth throughout the Marlborough-based bank’s Worcester and Boston markets. JEFF STEWART has been hired as senior vice president, cash management services. With more than two decades of banking experience, Stewart will provide treasury management services to the Main Street’s business partners and commercial clients. He most recently worked as first vice president, treasury management at Cambridge Trust Co. GAYLE PETTY has been hired as vice president, regional director, business relationships. In her new role, Petty will create new deposits and cash management relationships for businesses, nonprofits, and high-net-worth individuals in addition to aiding Main Street’s community involvement initiatives. She most recently worked at the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University, rounding out her more than 30-year tenure with the Medford-based institution as manager/core unit associate director. MICHAEL AROCA has joined Main Street as assistant vice president, client sales and service officer. In his new capacities, Aroca will manage new commercial and high-net-worth client onboarding and servicing. He has previously worked at Boston-based Peoples Federal Savings Bank, Rockland Trust, Cambridge Trust Co., Eastern Bank, and Wellesley Bank.
MARY DEAN, president and CEO of Clinton Savings Bank, has been appointed to two Worcester County nonprofit boards, assuming her roles at the Worcester Business Development Corp., an organization supporting Worcester businesses to foster economic growth, and the Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts, a Fitchburg-based charity managing charitable funds.
Oxford-based bankHometown has promoted employees JASON HOWARD and JENNA THEBEAU. Howard has assumed his new role as branch manager at bankHometown’s Sturbridge office. After having originally joined the bank in 2017 as a float teller, he most recently worked as senior assistant branch manager at the bank’s Putnam, Connecticut office. He graduated with his bachelor’s degree in history from Central Connecticut State University and his master’s degree in education from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut. Thebeau has been promoted to assistant branch manager at bankHometown’s Athol office.
