The Worcester Railers Hockey Club has promoted PAUL HARRIS to community relations manager and JACQUELINE AVOLA to corporate fulfillment and game operations manager. Harris, a Shrewsbury native, was previously the team’s community relations coordinator, and now manages the team’s community efforts and contributes to gameday operations. Avola, a graduate of Assumption College in Worcester, was previously the corporate fulfillment coordinator, and now works closely with the Railers’ corporate team to oversee gameday operations and promotional efforts.
ANDREA TIROCCHI is the new program manager at AdCare Hospital in Worcester. Tirocchi, a licensed mental health counselor, was previously a program director at Worcester nonprofit Open Sky Community Services, and a career integration manager and clinical therapist at The Providence Center. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in counseling from Rhode Island College, and she is pursuing a doctorate in education from Northeastern University in Boston.
KAMARON WASHBURN of Blackstone has joined ERA Key Realty Services in Northbridge. He has more than five years of experience as a corrections officer, and was in the restaurant industry as a line cook at King Street Cafe in Franklin and a pastry chef at Twelve Fine Food & Spirits. Washburn studied culinary arts at the Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School in Franklin and criminal justice at the Community College of Rhode Island.
Colantonio Inc., a Holliston construction management and general contracting firm, has hired ROBERT HEALY as director of building information modeling, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing services, and BRITTANY GENTILHOMME as assistant superintendent. Healy has eight years of industry experience and will ensure coordination of mechanical, electrical and plumbing services. Gentilhomme, a graduate of High Point University in North Carolina, has a background in commercial and residential landscaping, and public relations.
MARA LOUINORD of Milford is the new director of nursing services at Holden Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center. Louinord is a Quincy College graduate pursuing her master’s degree at UMass Lowell, and a fourth-generation nurse with 18 years of experience.
AAFCPAs has hired KEVIN MICHAELAN as the director of the Westborough-based accounting firm’s cannabis practice. Michaelan, who is based in the firm’s Boston office, leads its advising of cannabis industry investors and businesses, from startups to those with multi-state operations.
KAY SEARS of Shrewsbury has joined Thrive Real Estate Specialists in Shrewsbury. Sears started her career as a family and child trauma therapist and teacher, and has years of experience selling real estate.
SCOTT ISBRANDT has joined the Worcester human service nonprofit Ascentria Care Alliance as vice president of transitional services.
Isbrandt's position is newly created and responsible for multi-state leadership of eight programs including refugee resettlement and placement, education programs for refugees and immigrants, and legal services for foreign-born Americans and victims of sexual trafficking and abuse. Isbrandt has led community development programs in sub-Saharan Africa, and holds a master’s degree in sustainable international development from Brandeis University in Waltham, and a bachelor’s degree in cinema and photography from Ithaca College.
MICHAEL J. McNULTY has joined Miach Orthopaedics of Westborough as vice president of sales and marketing, leading the company’s commercialization and sales efforts for a new ligament repair implant. He has more than 20 years of commercial medical device experience, including most recently as senior director of sales at British multinational Smith & Nephew and as vice president of sales at Arstatis in California. McNulty is a U.S. Army veteran with a bachelor’s degree from Clemson University.
