Q. How far is your commute to the office?
A. 30 minutes.

Q. How close is this to what you imagined in high school you'd end up doing?
A. In high school, I always wanted to be a teacher. Since the banking environment is ever-changing, it seems that I am continually teaching so I guess I have the best of both worlds!

Q. What's the best way to keep your energy and motivation up when you're having a long day?
A. I certainly do not lack either energy or motivation, even on a long day. I love my job and it is refreshing to come to a job where you and your work are appreciated.

Q. Where's the best place to get lunch near your new location?
A. Corey's Hot Dog - 340 Main St. in Worcester. It's not just a hot dog stand - it has great home-cooked food and friendly faces!

Q. Do you have any hobbies outside of work?
A. I am honored to be an independent sales consultant for two companies, Avon and Scentsy. Through these companies, I run several annual fundraisers for local and national charities.

Q. What challenges do you see in your new position?
A. In my new position, I am replacing a person that was at the bank for 30 years. Change is hard for many people especially when there is change in management. My challenge is to gain the acceptance, trust and respect of the employees.

Q. What's on your to-do list for the next couple of days?
A. The list is very full right now. The bank is involved in several new initiatives for which I am a key player. So, each day, I do the "daily functions," communicate with my managers and hope that I am able to check more items off my project list than were added!
