Netezza, Chinese Firm In Bank Data Deal

Marlborough-based Netezza Corp. has put together an agreement with a Chinese banking software firm.
Longtop Financial Technologies Ltd. of China has agreed to sell Netezza data storage equipment along with its financial services software.
Longtop's products handle high volumes of data for risk management, credit management, marketing and fraud detection.
The companies said their products must be faster and more user friendly for modern financial services operations, especially in risk management, marketing and customer service.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
