The Worcester Together Coalition has launched a new website intended to help Central Massachusetts residents with information about getting involved with supporting Afghan evacuees resetting in the region, according to a Thursday announcement.

The website, WTRefugee.org, is intended to help coordinate support efforts and interest fielded by the Refugee and Immigrant Assistance Center and the nonprofit Ascentria Care Alliance, the two local agencies tasked with receiving and resettling Afghan families and individuals in and around Worcester.

More than 300 people from Afghanistan already have arrived in Worcester as part of the evacuation  following the end of the U.S. war in the Asian country, per the announcement.
