New YMCA Chair Carries On Family Tradition
The YMCA of Central Massachusetts has elected David K. Woodbury, president of Worcester commercial real estate manager Woodbury Co. Inc., as chairman of the board.
Woodbury, who succeeds Robert E. Maynard of Grafton, will oversee the implementation of the Y's "Vision 2012" strategic plan. The plan includes an increase in philanthropic support and the expansion of services to new people and communities.
Woodbury's father, Kimball R. Woodbury, served as chairman of the YMCA board from 1970 to 1972.
