NY self-storage firm buys Ashland facility for $15M

New York-based self-storage company Life Storage bought a former CubeSmart Self Storage facility in Ashland for $15 million.
The seller was an entity affiliated with Wasatch Storage Partners of Draper, Utah, who bought the property at 81 West Union St., Units 1 & 2 in 2018 for $13 million, according to the Middlesex South Registry of Deeds.
Life Storage bought a CubeSmart Self Storage facility on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester for $15 million in May.
The company runs 27 facilities in Massachusetts, including in Northbridge and Oxford.
