Paid Inc., a celebrity services firm headquartered in Worcester, announced it has acquired the business assets of Nartinez Productions LLC, a video production firm owned by Keith Garde, the recently-named president of Paid's celebrity business services.
Garde, who co-founded Nartinez Productions, will oversee Paid VFP, a video and film production service launched concurrently with the announcement of the acquisition. The firm intends to use the video service to complement its current celebrity services offerings, which include e-commerce storefronts, ticketing and fan experience packages, and building web site content to attract visitors.
Garde brings over 30 years of production experience to Paid Inc., and terms of his company's acquisition include two staff members that Nartinez shared with PKA Management, a firm created by Garde to manage national talent and provide consulting services. Paid will assume all ongoing Nartinez production projects, as well as any contracts for future projects. Paid will discontinue use of the Nartinez name.
Said Garde: "We anticipate that Paid's production services will become an important selling point for Paid celebrity services because few offer Paid's combination of video production and turn-key fan community management, merchandising, and VIP ticketing."
