P&W declares dividend

At its regular quarterly meeting Wednesday, the Providence and Worcester Railroad Co. declared a dividend of $0.04 per share of outstanding common company stock.
In 2006, the company reported net income of $1 million on revenues of $28.4 million.
Operating revenues in 2006 increased by 6.4 percent over 2005, but expenses for 2006 rose by more than 8 percent during the same period.
