QCC To Help Chinese Students Acclimate

Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester has reached an agreement to help Chinese students attending the Massachusetts International Academy acclimate to life in the United States.

The newly-formed academy is being established by the China Education and Research Network (CERNET) in Marlborough. The preparatory school is designed to help students enter American colleges and universities.

Under the new agreement, QCC will get academy students involved in social outings and activities that will enhance cultural awareness. The students will also have opportunities to take QCC courses. Through UMass Online, students will be able to maintain access to QCC courses when they return to China.

The academy and QCC expect to sign the partnership agreement Thursday morning.
