Red Bend Software in Framingham ranks seventh on a list of 50 fast growing technology companies in the latest Deloitte Brightman Almagor 2006 Technology Fast 50 competition.
The program recognizes public and private companies based on percentage revenue growth over a five year period. The program focuses on companies in the following fields: Communications; Software; Semiconductors; Components & Electronics; Life Sciences; Internet; and Computer Peripherals.
Red Bend provides firmware over-the-air updating solutions for mobile phones (FOTA). In 2006, the company moved from last place in 2005 to first in market share on the ARCchart, a research paper published by a UK-based analyst firm.
Deloitte Brightman Almagor chairman & CEO Igal Brightman said that Red Bend has experienced growth of over 2000 percent.
