Maynard-based Green Monster Games LLC (GMG), founded by Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling, has named ten new employees to its ranks, which includes several known names in the multiplayer online games community.
Steve Danuser has been appointed Director of Community Development/Senior Designer, and previously worked for Sony Online Entertainment, serving as a designer for EverQuest II, a role-playing game. Ryan Shwayder was named Community Relations Manager/Designer at GMG, and also worked at Sony with Danuser on the EverQuest II game. Erik Theisz will serve as Senior Producer, and Michael Woods has been named Assistant to Director of Customer Service Development/Designer, and both have previously worked at Sony.
Several designers were added to the team, including Senior Artists Brian Jones and Brian Labore. On the business side of GMG, Bill Thomas will remain director of Investor Relations and J. Robin Bickhart has been hired as Director of Business Operations. Brandon Franks will be Director of Internet Technology, and Keith Moegle was appointed Assistant to the Founder.
