Staples partners with Katy Perry to support teachers

Framingham’s Staples has donated $1 million and partnered with singer Katy Perry to encourage continued support of teachers.
The partnership was formed to encourage people to donate to nonprofit DonorsChoose.org, a charity that funds classroom projects. The partnership includes a public service announcement encouraging people to donate to the organization at Staples stores.
Staples partnered with Perry in 2014 to raise money for DonorsChoose. This new partnership includes a sweepstakes that will give people a chance to meet Perry.
