Stars find highway to Worcester

Worcester’s Paid Inc. has launched an all-new web site for all-old rock band Deep Purple.
According to Paid, Deep Purple’s legion of fans around the world now has an official web site to go to for news, band information, VIP concert ticket packages and new merchandise. The site, which was launched Thursday, also includes a fan forum and audio interviews with band members.
Paid, which has corporate headquarters in Boston, runs its fulfillment center and other operations from Worcester. The company began as an online auction site, but moved into the celebrity services and web site development and hosting business, which creates official web sites and fan club services for celebrities. The company also sponsors autograph signings and sports marketing services.
